The writer of BBC News says that Victoria Beckham, Beckham's wife, says she has never read a book in her life because she hasn't had enough time for reading. She likes listening to music and reading fashion magazines more than reading books. It's not surprising. According to research by the Office for National Statistics, commissioned by the National Reading Campaign in 2001, now, there're so many adults who don't read books recently. In spite of that, the book sales are rising, and the numbers of adults who can't read are decreasing lately. According to the director of the government-funded National Reading Campaign, reading customs are made in childhood days. Children looked at their parents and learned how to be with books. There are some points of view about reading books, and these are divided into two types. One is that people who don't have the custom to read books. From this point of view, reading is so boring. There're so many other interesting things such as traveling and visiting some place. Whereas many people who like and have the custom of reading books say that reading is so interesting and exciting, and it's the one way of getting self-confidence.
In my opinion, reading is important and necessary for people for various purposes; yet, they can be categorized into three parts, that is, good for health, communication and education.
First one is that activation of brain is caused by reading. Reading activates brain. It's been proved by the scientist. It's such a good activity for brain that we use the right and left brain, and while reading a book, we use both brains. When people read a book, sometimes, they feel tired because they are using the right and left brain; so, they think reading is troublesome. That's one of the reasons why some people donÅft like reading. But, when we watch only images like TV programs or games, we just use the right brain, consequently we can't remember easily what we saw. It's hard to remember what we saw if we use only the right brain. That kind of action is really effective not only for brain but also health, because activation of the brain leads body to good condition. Therefore, reading is effective in health.
Next is that reading is one of the communication tools. There are many communication tools such as internet and telephone. However, reading a book is the most memorable thing. If we read a book, we can keep and read it again easily so we can remember what happened, and what we thought and felt when we read it. For example, there is a difference between letter and e-mail, which are alike. E-mails have many virtues of being sent fast, easy to send and receive, and cheap. That's like the internet. Letters are more expensive and take a long time to being sent but many people are still using letters. That's like reading. Because they send a letter with their whole heart and they thought that the letter that they have received is same thing, they prefer using letters to e-mail. As I said before, reading is similar to letters in the point that with both we can feel warmth, since both are made by people. Something like Internet and telephone are machines, so that we can't feel warmth. For that reason, people like reading and reading is good for communication.
The third is that we can get the ability to imagine by reading. That's really something we can get only from books. Reading books take long time than watching images. It's not direct. Because of that, people think and imagine. When we watch an image, we don't have to imagine yet; we don't have any image in the book, so we have to imagine from letter. Moreover, when we read a book, we have to think and imagine what people look like. In addition, we'll do that with concentration and effort. These things make children smart. Children who have concentration can study hard and then succeed. As a result, it can be said reading is vital for education.
In conclusion, reading is infallibly good for some things such as health, communication and education. These things are valuable for life. Reading books is the spice of life. People can live without reading but it's nerdy. The life with reading is really exciting and intriguing. That's why many people recommend reading a book. They know reading is so good for life.

The Summary and Response

The Summary and essay of the art of Propaganda from BBC NEWS
The article of BBC News reports that there is a World War II art show. A lot of people collect these kinds of propaganda from World War II. This propaganda includes urging householders to recycle resources, because these materials were used in the war. One person said that these artworks had been forgotten. This propaganda also was evocative of part of the memory of veterans of World War II; it describes the bravery and selflessness of these veterans in the military life. From today’s eyes, these propaganda posters are very gentle because they look like advertisements. The finest and most visually creative ideas based on the freelance basis, it scribbled suggestion on how to increase their impact. Some propaganda wants to affect to demoralize the enemy.
The propaganda is through the public media or advertisement to try change the opinion and mind of people. Politicians want to acquire public support, and businesses want to earn public money through the media. They both use through the media to try to influence public opinion and acquire people’s support. The previous propaganda just is through advertisement or newspaper to transmit their information; however, due to the progressive technology, the present propaganda is not only through newspaper and advertisement, but also more conveniently through television, radio, internet, etc. to transmit their information.
Nowadays, the propaganda always could influence public opinion and mind to believe and support their product through the media, no matter whether it’s nowadays or in earlier times.
The public is always attracted by beautiful or famous people through the media. The propagandist hires a beautiful and famous person to transmit their information and product; the method easily makes audiences who want to associate with or be close to these people. For example, NIKE hires Michael Jordan to wear and advertise its products; therefore, a lot of people want to be like or associate with Michael Jordan. Hence, they buy plenty of products from NIKE. This method is often most useful and effective for the propaganda.
In addition, the propaganda also uses pictures to influence the public image. The positive picture always gives good impression of people; oppositely, the negative picture also gives a bad impression to people. This situation is often used by politicians. The politician’s propaganda always presents a positive image in order to establish an excellent appearance.
Moreover, the propaganda collects a lot of information from the market because they want to understand the profile of the audience’s interests and habits. When they know the audience’s interests and habits, they can present their opinion or product that the audience wants to see or hear. For example, every woman wants to have a slender body, in spite of the fact that the woman is not very big. The company always can easily sell the relevant product about reducing weight.
The propaganda always can easily influence public mind and opinion today. People could not block this propaganda, but people could trust their own mind and opinion. Therefore, correct distinct ability and not easily being influenced by propaganda is very important for everyone.

Summary of Web censorship in China
According to the writer of BBC News in “Web censorship: Correspondent reports” (2006, May 29), in public, China says they don't block anything except morally harmful things on the Internet in China. Actually the Internet in China is completely different from that. Chinese people are controlled by the government on the internet. Recently, the Chinese government made a big censorship system, “Great Firewall of China,” for that. In China, we can't reach every site but we can reach sites that aren't blocked by censorship so we can only go to some sites that are chosen by government. Moreover, some companies from overseas such as Google and Yahoo! make a system like that. Yet, that kind of movement helps the Chinese government to control people. Therefore they have been accused. There are many “Web police” who are employed by government to monitor and scan websites in China. And, still now, some people are caught by the government because they are using the internet to sand “sensitive” information to foreign based websites.

Airborne Leaflet Propaganda!
I chose this site,"Airborne Leaflet Propaganda". It's about "Propaganda" that is wrong or partly wrong information used by a goverment or political group such as enemy troops, or army, to make people agree with them. It's a kind of mind control and sometimes it can be a good thing but sometimes it can be a bad thing. Along time ago, around WWÖ†, people knew it was a very effective method, but its use in a decline. Yet, after around WWÖ†, it was used by many countries such as Western Europe,Korea and Vietnamu.
In my opinion, it's very interesting because it's a kind of traditional, conservative thing. I don't know how people who get propaganda feel and think about that. Sometimes, it can change people's mind, but sometimes, it can't do so. In Japan, it happend 50~60 years ago, during the war so I just wonder what they thought about it. And, this site has a lot of informations about that and it is so easy to understand so I recommend this site if you want to know about propaganda.

London paparazzi
I went to a London paparazzi.
This site is made by Jack Ludlam who has been doing a celebrity photography. There are many categories such as intros, a gallery and news. It connects with a BBC which offers news about a paparazzi. Looking at the gallery folder, there are many celebrities's pictures that were taken by Jack Ludlam.
I think that this site is very interesting and fun. Especially, I am interested in intros. These are stimulating for me and they make me want to see the site more and more. Because I like the sound which is heard by pressing a shutter. It makes me excited. Moreover, I can see a lot of celebrity's momentary pictures.I don't know whether this site infringes a celebrity's privacy or it just offers information to the public. However, the most important thing is that this site is useful for our entertainment.

Second Life land deal ends up in court
I'm going to write about this site:Second Life This site is about "Second Life"and made by "Linden Research, Inc". These is a map of the second life world., some links that are inviting or "Teen Second Life","Business week" and so on. This site looks like a game site because it's so colorful and there are some funny characters.
In my opinion, this site looks like so fun because there is a map that is located in the middle which is similar to my favorite game, so I had a interest in this site. In addition, in the left side, there is a message,"Teen Second Life"for teenages. If teenages come to this site, they can't play Second Life but they can play Teen Second Life. It is kind for teenages.

meaning of the color
http://www.infoplease.com/spot/colors1.html
According to this site, people's moods are affected by different colors. This site shows various meanings of colors today in the U.S. Generally speaking, blue, which is one of the most popular colors, means peaceful, calming, cool, and depressing. Red, which has the opposite reaction from blue, is most emotional and stimulates a our heartbeat. Also, it symbolzes love and attracts attention.
I think that a match of red and blue has a special meanings in Korea because of the colors of the flag. All Koreans have seen a match of blue and red, which is called" Taegeuk", which is the symbol of Korea. In addcordance with this site, blue and red ware opposite feelings and images from each other. In my opinion,it is a point that is concentrated strongly, and get an intensive attraction from people.

The Summary of BBC NEWS of Web Censorship: Correspondent report
The article of BBC News reports that the Chinese government severely censors the internet websites. The Chinese government's reason is it blocks pornographic sites and ones promoting things like terrorism. But the reality is very different; the searchers could not go to any website whose article was against or criticized the Chinese government. In fact, the Chinese government spent a lot of money to build the “Great Firewall of China” in order to block websites that are “dangerous” for China. The Chinese government could easily block and censor plenty of websites, some US-based computer software companies are among the accessories, like Google and Yahoo!, because these companies filter numerous kinds of information and websites in China. Utilizing these techniques, the Chinese government can easily block and control the websites that are against and criticize the Communist party, and arrest some people who are against and criticize Communist party.

After Reading Toyota Address Misinformation Regarding Advertising
The article on the website reorts that Toyota Motor Sales(TMS) retrcted their advertisment, because of rumors and misinformation about the advertisment. TMS utilized different postcard to stand for different culturs in the U.S.A., involving African Americans, males and women. Through some advertisments caused a little contriversy, TMS apologized right now. Through commercial advertisment and TMS's image, The Toyota's car has become very popular in the U.S.A.. The Toyota and Lexus dealership has grown 38 persent since 1998. The TMS employs more than 6200 Americans who work in Toyota; it has caused Toyota and Lexus to be more popular in North American.
Toyota is a successful car enterprise. In my opinion, Toyota has a lot of friendly advertisments. Its advertisments always attracts my eye contact. Beside its advertisment, Toyota's cars always present better quality than other brand cars. I think that's why Toyota succeeds, because of its advertisment and its car's quality.

After Reading the Quest to End Addiction
This report on the website is discussing the influence of computer games. Some people get addicted to the computer games, which cause them to neglect their families and school work. But somebody naysay the computer games for causing people to neglect what they should be concerned about, and they think the computer game can turn their passion into pay dirt. In fact, many people think that the computer games can easily lead to addiction and can interrupt basic components of life, involving school and work and relationship, etc.. Some people also think that computer games are just games, they could not represent the real life.
The computer games of the present day are very attractive to many people, including me. I am also attracted by the computer games. The computer games indeed can relax people’s mood and inspire people’s fancy. But it also easily causes people to be addicted to this game. I agree with the opinion of the report, especialy that addiction to the computer games easily leads to neglect of important things, including school, work and relationships with people. Before we play computer games, we should know how to balance our time between the computer games and our important things and that is very important.

Privacy and media
Kristine Brown and Susan Hood say that media effects someone’s privacy, and They consider whether it makes their life better or not, in “Privacy and media”. Journalists are frequently confronted with news which threatens someone’s privacy, and
should think about responsibility when they publish it. A politician’s personal life is opened to the public by media, and it is associated with their job. Also, many kinds of famous people are chased by photographers, who are called the paparazzi. The paparazzi can make a lot of money because they take a picture of famous people’s life. In addition, it makes trouble to famous people’s privacy and peace, such as the car accident of Princess Diana, so the paparazzi are questioned about whether the news value of a picture makes it worth publishing even though it makes trouble for famous people. On the other hand, journalism and famous people often use the paparazzi in order to be paid attention to by the public.

Effect of TV-style ads to net users
Net users can see a lot of advertisements like long TV ads that bother them, according to BBC news, “TV-style adverts arrive on web”, by Tracey Logan. Unicast and Microsoft are collaborating on an online ad, and they make it clear that the online ad appears unremittingly whenever you click on some websites; therefore, it is difficult to ignore and contiune what people were doing. Unicast says its ad is a jump to the future for the online advertising industry so that users will be faced with many ads on websites, and net users are going to have to get accustomed to this situation. On the other hand, its ads obviously disturb net users, according to technology analyst Bill Tompson.
There are three reasons why TV-style ads became a serious problem for net users.
TV-style ads make the connection speed too slow. Net users have to wait until downloading the ads even though they do not want to see those ads. Furthermore, this kind of ads are not simple, such as a pop-ups, so it might take a least several seconds. In the case of movie’s ads, it takes such a long time when it is compared with the others. Also, it makes slow down the speed while people are using the Internet.
Its ads give more stimulus to net users than other ads. During a serch of the Internet, net users often see many ads on almost all of the websites. If pop-ups appear suddenly, net users would not pay attention to it and turn it off as soon as posible. On the other hand, TV-style ads are really activators with a loud sound. Therefore, net users are appealed to by its ads in spite of useless information. Moreover, it causes curiosity to teenagers or young children, whether its ads have nudity and violonce or not. One website like a google, for example, there are ads which show many slip women in bikinis in order to just sell a product for a diet. It is too much exaggerdetive detail about bodies of women. Women who are in the ads are dancing, exercising, and moving to get the attention from net users regardless of net users’ age.
Its ads with long seconds will interfere with the progress of the work that net users are doing or will do. It induces many error and makes computer go down. In addition, sometimes more than two ads appear at the same time, so that these could
make a nose and offend users’ senses. Net users might not be able to do something that they have to do on time because of this disturbance.
In short, it is true that TV-style ads have a bad effect on net users as they make tardy connection speed, show stimulative images with sound, and disturb net users’ work. As these is an increase in the number of net users, we should be willing to control TV-style ads in order to a make a good Internet condition.

The influence of the television
The introduction of the mass media in the world to caused undoubtedly a change to our lives because since we have access to every kind of information rapidly, and as it advances the technology, this is possible at every hour and in any place. The appearance of the television consolidated the union between the word and the image and became a powerful instrument of communication. Since the 40’s years until our days, the television is part of our styles life, from it receive us political, cultural, educational and entertainment information.
These undoubtedly has influences over our beliefs and viewpoints denial or positively, but its not really the Television who treat of influence us, the people who are employed at them is who treat do it.
In this work I will try to explain why the television its not a bad influences for us necessarily.
Certainly in the case of the television, the socialization’s process of all the members of the society is related to the quality of the contents of the programs that transmits and of the advertisings that influence the habits of consumption of the population. It is true, but the television is at the time, alone the vehicle that delivers information, but it is really our process of education who decide as we assimilate the information. On our aptitude to analyze and filter it is going to depend the quality of the information that comes to us across the television.
On the other hand, the development of the television like way of communication is magnificent in all that it helps us to raise our quality of life and that of our families, for which, it is necessary to have a control. There are many techniques ways to control the programming, shouldn’t the government or any institution who do it, because the television is a way of expression too so each one should be to choose what kind of expressions we want to listen or not.
In conclusion I think that the television its not a bad influence necessarily. The television certainly has influence in our beliefs and our points of view but not more than our education and the environment in which we have grown up.
Then the control should be exercised in our first stages of life and in the adolescence for this way later to have moral and ethical bases on which doing our own elections.

Web Censorship
AE2
The article called “Web Censorship”, by Stephen Gibbs published in the BBC News, talks about the use of censorship like a tool used singly by the Cuba government to restrict access from all the citizens to certain sites. It says in this article that whereas government on one hand foments the use of the Web, educating people in the use of the internet, on the other hand has as hard restrictions for the users as for the suppliers. The government says that these restrictions are making sure that the single Internet is being used by sectors that have priority, such as education and health; because of the blockade imposed by The U.S.A. they have access just to satellite which is very expensive.
All this has given as a result a black market where the business becomes between employees of the state who have legal Internet access and the common citizen who gets $15 monthly and cannot pay $3 for one hour of internet in cyber cafes.

The new media taking part of our live
The new media takes a huge part in our daily lives and we spend a lot of time using it, and in this time it is impossible to discard it. And it makes our lives easier than in the past, and it has a lot of negative things and all of these problems are not coming from the media but we don’t know how to use it in the right way.
Cell phone problem is economic, it takes a lot of money because you must pay for your account every month if you use it or if you don’t use it, and even small children have cell phones, and that’s making trouble for their parents. It affect your health, if you use a cell phone a lot of time you will have cancer in your brain, For example, a researcher in a Swedish university found that the signal that cell phones give is one of the most common reasons for brain cancer. A researcher who studied wasting time found that people spend more than two hours a day talking on cell phones; for example, international students talk to their family and friends every day. Cell phone is noisy because it rings when you are in class or sleeping or studying and when you are in an important meeting; for example, international student families call them at bad times because of the difference in time zones.
There is a time problem; some people spend a lot of time on the internet, For example, for some people the internet becomes the most important thing in their life; they spend more than eight hours a day, and some people have an addiction to the internet, on the chatting, or on the sex web site or on games on line. The internet is not safe; for example, people may steal your hotmail account, and if you want to buy something from the internet, they will get your card number and they will steal all the money in your account and if you have private information they can take it from your computer and sometimes if somebody sends a virus to you it will damage your computer. The things that we don’t want our children to see, for example sex website and violence, have a negative effect on children's behavior. Every family must have a filter on the computer.
Video games give three problems; video games appear to be violent. For example, a boy in Alabama was playing a famous game which has a lot of violence. The game's name is Grand Theft Auto, and it affected his behavior, and he became a murderer and he killed three men, two of them police officers, because he did in the street what he saw in the game. Some people play games for a lot of time and they are wasting their time; for example, the new generation of children. They have health problems; when people sit and play video games they're not moving, and it will affect their eyes, and they eat and play and will become fat.
In conclusion, the new media leads the people to development, and it opens our minds to things that we never imagined. And it makes the world like a small city. As a result we found that media have a lot of bad effects, especially on small children, and it has a lot of good things, depending on the person who is using it.

How can the video games affect the real life?
This web site thinks these video games affect on kids. These companies made a lot of customers, that’s why they made millions of copies. It draws billions of dollars. In some cities adolescents affected by playing video games killed people in the real world. These video games teach some people violence. There are some video games that show you a lot of kinds of cars and you select the car that you want, steal it and run away and you can kill the person you don’t like.
In my opinion there video games a bear to violence. And I like the web site design because you can search for any information and find what you want.

Cell phone become available in North Korea
North Korea has been insulated by the countries that carry the world because it doesn’t want to unhand the nuclear weapons. They still don’t have communications with the world but North Korea is trying to link affairs. There is some shirking about the cell phone that comes from China, and it is trying to pivot communication. China supported North Korea's nation to make their business an more particularly in weather, food, and consumer goods. The business has increased between China and North Korea. In 2003 the Chinese Cell phone Company started to build Transmission towers in the North Korea border. There are a lot of North Koreans who have a cell phone now coming from China and they start using it.
However, my opinion is that the county that carries the world that tries to isolate any country is going to fail, because it's not right to take people's freedom and what they are doing is driving people backward. I agree with China about what are they doing with North Korea and I think South Korea should help North Korea.

The rumors and those who believe them
This website clarifies some of correct rumors and the wrong once and some of that have not been made clear yet. The website shows some wrong rumors. In California some news has been leaked that California will be separated from the U.S.A in the future and it will be led by a new president. Another example of wrong rumors is the one that the former American presidential candidate Al Gore is the first one who invented the Internet. The website shows some correct rumors; for example, that the American President George Bush is the first leader of a fabricated war. It shows some rumors may be correct or may be wrong; for example, that tomato prices will go up if Kerry was chosen president.
In my opinion, there are a lot of rumors in the world and the most common one are the wrong one. In my own experience there was a big rumor in Saudi Arabia and it talked about the king increasing the labor salary to 25%, but he only increased it to 15%.

Suarez proud of Ecuador's showing
The article published in BBC Sports called Suarez proud of Ecuador's showing talks about the last game of Ecuador in the World Cup against England and how coach Luis Fernando Suarez expresses his pride for Ecuador’s improvement. He said that the only way to get a definite win was a stopped ball play because both teams were willing to win. Furthermore, he expressed his congratulations to England and especially to captain Beckham whose very precise shot, it was impossible to stop.
I must accept that I am not a soccer fanatic but at this time I must recognize that the World Cup fever embraced me too because it is unusual that in my country the people work together and make known Ecuador’s name for something more than corruption and oil; my country maybe will remember that there is nothing we can’t beat if we work hard and together.

Colors' meaning
This article talks about colors’ meanings and how the meaning of colors changes between cultures and through time. In this time, according to recent studies, in The U.S.A. black means power, stylishness and also submission. White is the purity’s color; for that reason brides wear white, and doctors too, because it means sterility too. Red is an emotional color because it manages to stimulate the senses; for that reason it is called love’s color, while the blue color produces calm. Green symbolizes nature, can improve vision, and also means relaxation. People in yellow rooms lose their calm and concentration. Purple is a sophistication synonym, and also it’s a romantic color, and finally, solid, reliable brown is the color of earth.
I am in discord with the idea that purple is a color that denotes sophistication, because I think that to denote sophistication a color must be sober and elegant, like black, which can’t show power and at the same time submission, because the colors don’t have sex. I agree with the idea that red is the color of the passion, but not of the love, because I think that love is a mixture between peace, security, happiness, fidelity and passion.

The art of propaganda
The art of propaganda, by Megan Lane, published in the BBC News Magazine, talks about how an exhibition tries to rescue propaganda like artworks of the time of World War II, which encouraged in the North American Nation patriotism feelings. In this exhibition, the author says, it shows sketches, cartoons and paintings which reflect how life was in North America in the forties years, their needs, their jobs, their feelings about the war and how they worked toward an objective. Among 1900 artworks 250 of the best were chosen; those have been digitized for an online gallery.
But the influence of propaganda on the people in the 40s is different from the influence over the people now.
Even though propaganda is made with the same purpose, to influence the people’s minds, the people now don’t like propaganda, because this resource had been used too much. In the election time, for example, people are supersaturated with unpleasurable political propaganda.
Furthermore, it is important to consider that people now have many other ways to obtain information; to change what the people believe or not is not as simple as in the days of World War II. The war of the USA against Iraq is an example of this; the people shouldn’t be able to associate art with anything about the war, because these days we can see through the mass media the horror of the war.
However, we have now too, in the media, propaganda that tries to give us values like to share and to respect, and many others important to live. Not everything about propaganda these days is bad; as an example of this, the Mormons’ propaganda talking about the family and values, and some propaganda about September 11 that tries to awake in the people feelings like compassion.
As a result, I think initiatives like William Spencer’s are good to rescue the artworks from 1940s to enable us to compare with the propaganda in our days; in that way we will be able to notice as the change in the mentality of people and the advance of technology, which forced the propaganda to also change.

Parents suffering with their children By Khalid Doubi.

Parents suffering with their children
Video games are one of the biggest problems that parents face with their children; they become the best friend for the child. They affect his health in general. Most of these video games have a lot of violence. The child who's sitting in his chair and playing video games will spend a lot of time playing them. The parents must control it because it's become more and more difficult to control than in the past; at the end of the day you can see that the child spent all his time on these games, and because of that the parents should make strict rules to control it.
I did research on video games and how it affected children, and I found that there is publicity about those children who spend all day playing it and default on all their day work. It's not good at all for their health, especially their eyes, because these games work on electricity and the others work on lasers; the child falls under the effect of the radiation of those dangerous games. It will hurt their eye, brain and body. These children are sitting in an unhealthy way, without any moving; that’s why they become fatter than they were. If they play these video games, they will not contact with the society. They will not be a productive for the country, they can not improve their skills while they are spending all the day playing these video games. The development which happens in the world will stop if the parents did not stop their children and control them, because the children are the generation of the future.
There are a lot of things that children can spend their time on instead of wasting their time with video games. They can read a story, contact with the society, visit his reality and read the newspaper. The scholastic level for the early childhood will go down; there are a lot of people in the world who leave the school and become useless. I find this situation a lot in my country, Saudi Arabia. The society oppresses the child who is banished from school. In my experience I had a hypomania on these video games, especially Grand Theft Auto, but my parents stopped me and punished me. I started to read stories and some magazine, What my parents did to me was good for me; I started to show my skills and improve them.
Most of these video games have alot of violence; this is the biggest problem that has an effect on children and sometimes adults. When the children kill each other on the video games, they will think that it's normal to kill; the murder rate will go up. Indiana state faced a problem; it was about a child who was playing violent games called Grand Theft Auto; he was killing people in the game every day, then he thought that it's normal to kill people, so he went to the street and killed two policemen and he became a murderer. These children could practice violence with their family first, then their friends; because of that, we can say that it changes the behavior and the thinking of the child, it changes the personality of the child, and when he grows up he would grow as a murderer and a killer. In Saudi Arabia we face a lot of these situations on the video games; when murderers kill people, they are hng or he commits suicide by himself. Last month, I read in the newspaper that there is a child from Saudi Arabia who killed his brother with his father's gun; these was a hullabaloo, and all the people were talking about it; the government is trying to stop these video games and also the parents have the biggest role to stop it or control it to stop all these problems.
In conclusion, if the parents control the situation they can make the video games funny, interesting and more safe. If they neglect this situation, the problem will get bigger and it will be the worst. If we use a thing that we have in a good way, it will make us succeed, even the video games, and if we use it in a bad way it will give us a bad effect. There are a lot of things that can develop the children and let them improve themselves, for example educational material.

Can a video game lead to murder?
I visited this website, it’s for CDS news, it talked about murdering and video game would be responsible for murder.
The article written on March 6, 2006 and showed a kid who was 18 years old and who was responsible for killing three people. He took this idea from a game called Grand Theift Auto.
This game was about a paid killer, and this is what the article is good because there is an introduction in the beginning and it showed a picture of who was responsible for this game and who was the killer.
Sometimes this is right; the game can lead to murder.
But that depends on the relationship between the families to their kids

Can the colors make a change in our life ?
Hi, I visited this site today : it talks about how colors can make a change in our life,And is this true to believe or not?..
There is a lot of information about the colors and what every color means in life …
Some believe that the colors can contact people between each other and every color has an occasion.
In my opinion this is true and if you can see the commercials in media , and Choose the right color in the right advertisement , and it makes a difference if we change this color.
Also, I like this website because it talks about all colors we use and see in our life, but the author should talk about every color with a different font color, and not make it all with black.

Africa faced million of dead people By Khalid Doubi.
Africa faced million of dead people.
The world promised that the problem that happened in Rwanda will not happen again. The media disguises the realities from the nation to gratify the government, that’s why it increases the problem. Even though the large number of the media nets in the U.S.A, it did not show the real portraits for the problem, that’s the proof that the big states of the world do not want to fix the problem. The media distressed the celebrities more than the problems that happen in the world. In Sudan there is a similar situation to Rwanda includ killing children, raping, murder and famine. Also in the Democratic Republic of the Congo there is a big disaster that’s happening, a lot of people died for a lot of reasons but the media did not report fast or tell the world about the disaster there.
In my opinion, these big states should give their attention to this problem instead of trying to find affair to the celebrities. I think the world should take a serious step; they are facing a serious problem in Sudan. They should move, and do their best to impore the world also in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda.

The murder by video games By Khalid Doubi.
The murder by video games
I went to this web site.it was talking about how these video games can affect people. These video games companies profit, they made a lot of money and billion of copies. These video games show people how to kill and how to be a murderer. Some countries have faced a lot of murder situation which were from some kids who have video games. There is a video games which is called Grand Theft Auto. You can see the car that you interested in and steal it when the cop sees you he will go after you and you should run away. You can kill the police man. If you killed them, a lot of cops will come after you until they stop you and kill you. They sell these video games in the shops now and any one can have it, even the kids.
In my opinion. I agree that they affect on children and they will raise the murderer rate in the world. They must control it and make a serious rules for these video games. I like the way that they link and I like also the design of the web site.

Privacy and The Media By Khalid Doubi.
Privacy and The Media
According to Kristine Brown and Susan Hood in “Privacy and the media”, the fourth estate is forced by the society to publish an event or story; some people from the society stand against these news; they think it’s private but others think it’s normal to know it. the Fourth estate interferes in the people’s privacy and in their own life; for example, the scandal which happened in the U.S.A. when President Clinton had a relationship with a women and the fourth estate published it. Journalists gain a lot of money from chasing famous people to publish their privacy stories about private affairs. Journalists also take photographs of a celebrity people from their private life and Provocation them. However this is the way that Diana died, because the paparazzis were trying to take photographs and scandal her. There are a lot of critics from the society who claim that the government should stop those paparazzi and journalists who are whipping and scandaling the famous people, because a lot of celebrities don’t want their private life to be published in the news or to the public and the society.

Net poses dangers for soccer fans
According to BBC news, the net poses dangers for soccer fans and they should watch what they are doing if they following their favorite team. A lot of people are interested about the world cup, especially those who dovetail about soccer. The media (internet) performance is doing a good job about that, because it’s a big event this year. There are many websites allied with teams in this series, but they are bug-ridden with spyware and adware. After a search and study about the teams they found Angola had the most hazardous sites, and there are some players who have dangerous sites. Another study looked at websites that have many fans connected with the teams in the world cup. According to the article, they found 24% of the sites for Angola were dangerous; the second team on the list was Brazil with 17% of the sites. Also, they were looking for players in each team who are attractive in this world cup. The Top Ten of most dangerous players were with Angola with 45% of the sites. Moreover they found Brazil and England had about 30% dangerous sites. Finally the world showed acceptance with it, and it will be significant.

Children in the Media
There are many new and strange things in the media but this thing which I will talk about has become famous for people, especially for children, because it is close to real life. Video games are developing fast in the word. There are different kinds of games, and how the games affect the child like violent games and make them more aggressive in their life, so some countries are trying to eliminate them by judging the stores who sell them.
The parents have most responsibility to keep the children away from those games in a lot of ways.
The parents always should watch the kids and what they do. They can make a schedule for time to play, like just an hour in a day or two times in a day. If the parents can delineate what their children must do and give them some advice, the children’s minds will be changed. The bad things when the child takes a lot of time to play video games are that health problems will start with them, like myopia and some problems in the back.
Also, the parents can do good things to encourage their children. With this thing they could learn something new and at the same time start to fill the time to play video games. If the parents take their children to join them in some school to take benefit or to find some hobby, so that they could take time in something useful far from video gamester, the parents can get peace of mind.
I believe there are some children who are getting used to playing video games, and there are some parents who can not watch their children all the time and stay with them and hinder them from what they did for fun to take their time, but the parents can keep control of the video games, like bring the peaceable games without violence, thinking games, and sport games. That way all of them will win.
In conclusion, I think the big charge is on parents and how to teach their children. In spite of this we see a lot of children who lost their life in the street, or some children who are victims of their parents. I think nobody wants their children like that. This is why some people believe in leaving their children to play video games at home under the aegis of their eyes. However, they should some times give them some freedom to do what they want but by limit, to make life easier.

Britney spears with her child
I went to this article ;I read about the suffering Britney Spears with the Media, especially from photographer’s. On one day Britney drove her car with her son, and bodyguard. They went to store to buy something, when she waited with her son some photographer tried to get a picture of her son, because he wasn’t in the right place in the car. According to an article, the singer loves her baby but she is opposition to some problems with photographs.
In my opinion, I like Britney Spears. She is really a good person, I read about hey. But her problem is normal, because she is famous. I believe sometimes the person can’t be dominating in cases like that, but they should try to adapt themselves because they are famous.

Millions die in Africa
I went to
this article ;the reason that made me choose this article is that the title attracted me to real about it, (millions die in Africa); also, I’m from Africa. Sometimes we hear about people dying or people needing food or money, most of them because of the disease. When we hear about that we feel sad, but the problem is why this thing is less important than insignificant programs in American television, which means that few people know about them. However, they should give them some attention and try to make the number of people who die smaller.
In my opinion, there are many poor countries in Africa that need help from everybody in the world. I think that’s true, and I agree with that (many people don’t know about them) In my country, Sudan, there are some poor towns, and I saw them; it is really a disastrous thing .also, I think the big problem at this time is that the media is interested in famous people and what they do, whereas they should give some consideration about people in Africa.

Privacy and the Media
Privacy and the Media
Brown and Hood talked about the influence of the media that the
people who work in media are concerned about several kinds of ethical
issues before they produce their story. For example, they have to decide
whether to let the watcher have the night to know about private lives of
celebrity people or not such as President Clinton and Princess Diana. In
addition, famous people lives have become more and more complicated after
what they call it Paparazzi appear in their lives. Because this Paparazzi
always try to catch any picture for any famous people in order to get a
picture like that the Paparazzi have to put their lives and the famous people
lives and in danger. What happened in 1997 with Princess Diana is the best
example. This can explain the relationship between Paparazzi and
celebrities.
