Weblog assignment #3

According to this web site http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4785824.stm it states that It is a paradox that women achieve an overall better educational level than men but get the oppsite reflection of job level. For example, Eighty percent of women complete secondary education compared to 75% of men, more than fifty percent of university students are women, but only women have a third of managerial jobs from the chart. After that, they give some measures to solve this problem: First, setting up gender equality in Europe. Moreover, reviewing all existing EU gender equality laws and increasing awareness of gender inequality, In addition, ensuring that gender equalitly has be cinsidered in all the jobs.

In my opinion, it is true that it is easier for men to find jobs than women. Because in our education it is a stereotype that men usually lead the class in school, so now, for most of men it is easier to find the managerail job than women. Even though that women's school scores are higher than men's scores, but the idea that men should lead all companies is inside all of people's hearts. Afer the survey that it is a paradox women have fewer job chances than men evern if their educational level is not less than men. Therefore, the gender institute give some measures to ensure that gender equality can be considered in all policies.
